We use collected information to provide and improve the Service, communicate with account holders, process billing, and provide customer support. Student and family data is used only to deliver the counseling workflows the counselor configures.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure vendors) only as needed to operate the Service, under confidentiality obligations, and as required by law.

4. Student and Family Data

Counselors and counseling practices act as the data controller for student and family information they enter into MeridiesAI. MeridiesAI acts as a data processor, handling that information solely on the counselor's instructions and for the purposes of delivering the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and student data for as long as an account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. Counselors may request deletion of their account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by contacting us. Counselors are responsible for managing consent and data rights for the students and families they represent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders.
